Background
Steve was born in Wheatland, Wyoming on August 31, 1954. He received B.S. from the University of Wyoming in 1977, and his J.D. from the UW Law School in 1980. Steve was admitted to the bar that same year, Wyoming and U.S. District Court, District of Wyoming. Steve is a member of the Platte County Bar Association (President, 1990-1996) and a recipient of the Art and Science of Advocacy Award, from the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is currently serving on the University of Wyoming College of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors, and has been since 2001.
